Neosho, Anderson residents injured in collision south of Joplin

Two people were injured in a two-vehicle accident 1:50 p.m. today on Loop 49, two miles south of Joplin.

According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2021 Hyundai Kona driven by Jonathan V. Ashworth, 29, Joplin, traveled crossed the center line and collided with a 2016 Ram driven by Tamara D. Alexander, 37, Neosho.

Alexander and a passenger in her vehicle, Shannon L. Goswick, 56, Anderson, were treated for moderate injuries at Freeman West Hospital, Joplin.
