02/27/2024 Officer was dispatched to the 600 block of Poplar in reference to property damage. Investigation continues.
02/28/2024 Officer was contacted by a person in reference to a fraud. Person was referred to another agency for investigation.
02/29/2024 Officer was dispatched to the 100 block of E 18h St. regarding a physical domestic in progress. One person was arrested for Domestic Assault and transported to the Barton County Jail for processing.
2/29/2024 Officer conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for not displaying a front license plate. Driver was searched and a crystal-like substance was found and field tested. The substance was placed into evidence to be sent to the Missouri State Crime Lab for further testing.
02/29/2024 One subject was arrested for possession and transported to the Barton County Sheriff’s Office and placed on a 24 hr hold.
03/01/2024 Officer was contacted by a citizen who reported someone had hit his truck and left the scene in the 100 block of E. 12th. The suspect who left the scene was located and issued a citation.
03/03/2024 Officer was contacted by a citizen who reported items stolen from their residence in the 1300 block of E. 16th St. Investigation continues.
