Joplin woman injured in collision on 171 at Fir Road

A Joplin woman was injured in a two-vehicle collision 7:15 a.m. today on Missouri 171 at Fir Road one mile west of Airport Drive.

According to the Highway Patrol report, a 27-year-old Carl Junction woman driving a 2022 Kia Forte turned left in front of a 2019 Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross driven by a 39-year-old Joplin woman.

The Joplin woman was treated for moderate injuries at Freeman West Hospital, Joplin.
