St. Louis Avenue in Joplin to be closed from 8th Street to Campbell Parkway

Starting Tuesday, January 14, St. Louis Avenue will be closed from 8th Street to Campbell Parkway. 

This will be a full closure at the railroad crossing to replace the box culvert and stormwater infrastructure on the north side of the railroad crossing.

 

Residents will be able to access their houses, but through traffic will have to follow the detour route. The project is part of a group of ARPA-funded stormwater projects. D & E Plumbing is the contractor for this project.

Drivers will need to use an alternate route during this time. Please use caution in these work areas. The City appreciates your patience as the improvements are made.
