(From the Newton County Sheriff's Office)During November and December of 2024, the Newton County Sheriff’s Office received reports of vandalism in the area of Kodiak Rd and Ridgewood Rd in Neosho.
During one of the incidents, it was reported that a bottle and eggs were used to break a window causing $1,880.59 in damage. Another incident was reported in the same area where two residences were vandalized using an orange and rocks. The total damage during these two incidences totaled more than $2,000 in damage.
Investigators with the Sheriff’s Office conducted an investigation and with the assistance of the public, they were able to identify who the juvenile offenders were. This case has been sent to the Juvenile Office for further follow-up.
