Drug enforcement, SWAT team seize drugs, gun during Joplin raid

The Ozarks Drug Enforcement Team and Joplin SWAT served a Search Warrant at 228 N. Connor in Joplin on 07/17/2015.

The warrant resulted in the arrest of Cory Walstead, a 23-year-old Joplin resident and Tierell Sherrick a 19-year-old Joplin resident. ODET Detectives seized suspect marijuana and a gun from the residence. 

Charges were forwarded to the Jasper County Prosecutors Office.

    Headline makes it sound pretty bad. I'm betting it was less than an ounce of weed and a legal firearm.

    It's just marijuana there's nothing wrong with it it just needs to b legal every where
