A 12-year-old girl's body was recovered 11:05 a.m. Wednesday, two days after she had been swept away by a strong current on Elk River, one mile northwest of Noel.
According to the Highway Patrol report, Wiver Moo, 12, Noel, fell into the water, was swept downstream by the current and drowned.
