Seneca woman injured in one-vehicle accident near Neosho

A Seneca woman was injured in a one-vehicle accident 6:45 p.m. Thursday on Old 60 Highway, eight miles east of Seneca.

According to the Highway Patrol report, Lauren M. Dexter, 32, Seneca, driving a 2000 Ford Taurus, failed to negotiate a curve, left the roadway, overturned, and hit a tree.

Dexter was treated for moderate injuries at Freeman West Hospital, Joplin.

This person is my cousin and best friend and I am very interested in finding out who the witness is that immediately responded to her and pulled her put of the windshield so we can tell him how thankful we are. While she was not seriously injured she could have been, and his actions were heroic in our eyes.
