A Lockwood man was injured in a two-vehicle accident 5:24 p.m. Wednesday on I-49, four miles south of Jasper.
According to the Highway Patrol report, a 1999 Ford F150 driven by Gary W. Johnson, 52, Lockwood, drove into the rear of a 2012 Volvo Conventional driven by Silmang Konare, 44, Garland, Texas.
Johnson was treated for serious injuries at Freeman West Hospital, Joplin.
