City crews to stripe roads Thursday and Friday

(From the City of Joplin)

Drivers in the southern portions of Joplin are urged to use caution as Public Works crews are out striping newly paved roads in the next couple of days.

Starting on Thursday, December 10 and working through Friday, December 11, crews will be working on West 32nd Street, from Schifferdecker Avenue to Jackson Avenue, and also along 44th Street, from Range Line Road to Connecticut Avenue. Workers will be in this area from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Slow moving trucks will be in these areas on both days, and drivers should be prepared for lane shifts. In addition, there will be wet paint on the roads, and should be avoided by motorists, if possible. The City appreciates everyone’s patience during this work.
