Carl Junction woman cited for DWI following one-vehicle accident

A Carl Junction woman was charged with driving while intoxicated following a one-vehicle accident 1:30 a.m. today on Zora, one mile northwest of Joplin.

According to the Highway Patrol report, a 1999 Toyota driven by Linnaea F. Casados, 22, Carl Junction, ran off the roadway and overturned.

Casados was treated for moderate injuries at Freeman West Hospital, Joplin.

In addition to DWI, Casados was cited for not wearing a seat belt, failure to drive on the right half of the roadway, no insurance, failure to title vehicle, and failure to register vehicle.
