A number of recent seasonal presentations offered at Missouri Southern State University will be aired on KGCS-TV.
“Christmas at the Old Toy Store,” an original children’s production staged by Southern Theatre, will be aired at 9 p.m. Monday, Dec. 14; 7 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 15; and 9 p.m. Monday, Dec. 21.
The Jazz Orchestra’s Swingin’ Jazz Holiday Show will air at 7 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 13.
The Seasonal Choral Flourish – featuring performances by the Southern Concert Chorale, Chamber Singers and Jazz Unlimited – will air at 7 p.m. Monday, Dec. 14, and Tuesday, Dec. 15.
“We’re glad to be able to record and air these presentation, so they may be shared with the community,” said Judy Stiles, general manager of KGCS.
The station will continue to air the specials throughout the upcoming weeks. The programs are also available on the station’s YouTube channel.
KGCS programming may be seen over the air on digital channel 22 and on regional cable television systems including Cable One, Mediacom and Suddenlink. KGCS operates as a service of the Department of Communication at Missouri Southern State University.
