PHONE SCAM ALERT!
Multiple Joplin Businesses were contacted yesterday and told their electric bill was overdue and to deposit money into a kiosk at another local business or their electricity should be shut off.
It is safe to say that these calls should be ignored and any concerns you have about the status of your electric bill can be addressed by calling your electricity provider to check the status of your account.
