Update on Goodman, volunteer are being accepted and needed for clean up operations. The volunteer reception center is on the south side of Choice Puppies, our CERT tent is here as well as the Newton County Command POST.
We will have signs up pointing the way. So if you are coming from the south on Hwy 59 you go past Choice Puppies and turn onto the street by the funeral home and Goodman meat locker and then make the next right and follow it to Janice and turn right onto Janice and go a couple blocks. The Tyson Foods trailer is there and a volunteer banner. Turn into the white gravel lot and travel to the west to the back of the lot. If you are coming off C Hwy go past the pallet company and turn north and cross the tracks and then right on B Avenue then right on Janice to the Tyson Foods trailer.
We will be starting at 8am on Friday, April 7th.
