I-44 ramps to be closed June 7-9 between Fidelity and Halltown for asphalt repair

TRAFFIC ALERT
One I-44 Lane, Two Ramps CLOSED between Fidelity & Halltown for Asphalt Repair June 7-9


Where: I-44 in both directions at various locations between mile markers 18.4 at Fidelity and 56.8 near Halltown in Jasper and Lawrence counties, along with the ramps at eastbound I-44 to northbound I-49 and southbound I-49 to eastbound I-44 in Jasper County

When: Closing ramps from 9 p.m. to midnight, Wednesday, June 7 only, and closing one lane of I-44 at a time in both directions at various locations from 9 p.m. to midnight, Wednesday through Friday, June 7-9

What: Contractor crews will repair asphalt pavement on the Interstate and ramps

Traffic Impacts:
Crews will close one I-44 lane at a time in both directions at various locations between mile markers 18.4 and 56.8 (one lane open to traffic at all times during repair work)
Eastbound I-44 to northbound I-49, and southbound I-49 to eastbound I-44 ramps CLOSED Wednesday, June 7 only
Signs and message boards will alert drivers well in advance of the closure
Drivers should expect delays, find alternate route
