Joplin mini-bike driver injured in two-vehicle collision

A Joplin man was injured in a two-vehicle collision 9:38 p.m. Tuesday on Route E one mile east of Carthage.

According to the Highway Patrol report, a Tailcat minibike driven by Matthew R. Ketchum, 20, Joplin, was driving at a slow speed and was rear ended by a 2006 Chevy 2500 driven by Jerry W. Lawson, 40, Carthage.

Ketchum was treated for moderate injuries at Mercy Hospital, Joplin.
