A Washburn man was injured in a one-vehicle accident 4:30 p.m. today on Mountain Road, 10 miles east of Jane.
According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2017 Dodge Ram 3500 driven by Howard G. Messimore, 44, Washburn, traveled off the left side of the roadway and struck a tree.
Messimore was airlifted to Washington Regional Hospital, Fayetteville, Arkansas, with serious injuries.
Messimore was cited for driving while intoxicated and careless and imprudent driving.
