A Bronaugh teen was killed in a one-vehicle accident 6 p.m. Monday on private property three quarters of a mile southwest of Bronaugh.
According to the Highway Patrol report, a Yamaha Big Bear ATV driven by Nicklas A. Rider, 13, Bronaugh, overturned on a steep hill and the vehicle landed on him. Vernon County Coroner David Perry pronounced Rider dead at the scene.
The fatality was the 87th this year for Highway Patrol Troop D.
