Joplin woman injured as vehicle goes airborne through fence and sign

A Joplin woman was injured in a one-vehicle accident 5 a.m. Sunday on Highway 43, one mile south of Joplin.

According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2005 Chevrolet Trailblazer driven by Clifford C. Adams, 62, Joplin, ran off the left side of the road, went airborne and slid through a fence and a sign.

A passenger, Debra R. Dickson, 58, Joplin, was treated for minor injuries at Mercy Hospital, Joplin.
