Texas man who fled Jasper Police, carjacked woman at Lamar McDonald's being held on $1 million bond

Reference subject Ricky Gene Landreth:

Landreth was apprehended by Pittsburg Police Department. October 27, 2017 Judge Nichols issued a warrant for Landreth. Landreth is being held on Robbery - 2nd Degree, Leaving the Scene of an Accident, Unlawful Possession of a Firearm, and Resisting Arrest.

All of the above charges are felony charges. Landreth is being held in Crawford County on $1 million bond.

Earlier Barton County Sheriff's Office News Release

On Thursday, October 26, an officer with the Jasper Police Department was involved in a high-speed pursuit on I-49 toward Lamar. 

That vehicle was involved in a collision by McDonald's on 1st Lane. The subject running from law enforcement exited that stolen vehicle and stole a second vehicle at that intersection. A woman who was in that vehicle which was stolen was injured whenever the subject threw her from the vehicle.

On October 26, 2017, at approximately 11 p.m., the police department received information from the Barton County Sheriff's Office about the possible whereabouts of 39-year-old Ricky Landreth.

Landreth was reported to have led Missouri law enforcement agencies on a high speed pursuit earlier in the day and was also involved in a carjacking where a female was thrown from her vehicle.

At approximately 12;30 p.m. October 27, officers located Landreth in a Regency Inn hotel room, where he was taken into custody for the Missouri charges and a Texas arrest warrant.

The investigation into this case is ongoing at this time.
