An Oronogo woman was injured in a two-vehicle accident 4 p.m. Thursday on MO 96, a half mile east of Carthage.
According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2012 Chevrolet Traverse driven by Ralph E. Brewer, 70, Wytheville, Virginia, was stopped on the westbound shoulder and then pulled into the path of a westbound 2009 Kia Sportage driven by Delorise D. Carlsen, 59, Oronogo.
After the impact, the Carlsen vehicle overturned, coming to rest on its top.
Carlsen was treated for moderate injuries at Mcrcy McCune-Brooks Hospital, Carthage.
