A Purcell man was injured in a one-vehicle accident 5:15 p.m. Monday on Route D in Purcell.
According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2017 Honda Ruckus motor scooter driven by William H. Miller, 42, Purcell, struck a dog on the roadway and overturned.
Miller was treated for moderate injuries at Freeman West Hospital, Joplin.
