Fairview teen airlifted to Freeman following drug-related collision near Neosho

A Fairview teen was injured in a two-vehicle collision 7 p.m. Friday on U. S. 60, a tenth of a mile east of Neosho.

According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2014 Chevrolet Cruze driven by Sheridan L. Hailey, 19, Fairview, while attempting to cross U. S. 60, struck a 2019 Dodge Ram 3500 driven by Matthew A. Mussati, 33, Jay, Oklahoma.








Hailey was flown to Freeman West Hospital, Joplin, with serious injuries.

Highway Patrol arrest records indicate Hailey was cited for driving while intoxicated (drugs), misdemeanor possession of marijuana, unlawful use of drug paraphernalia, careless and imprudent driving involving a crash and minor in possession of alcohol.
