On March 13th, 2020 at 9:17 pm officers were dispatched to 20th St. & Delaware Ave for a single vehicle crash.
Upon arriving officers located the driver, a female identified as Brittney Hoffman (31) of Webb City, MO deceased inside the vehicle.
The adult male passenger in the vehicle had minor injuries and was released from the scene.
The vehicle was traveling eastbound, lost control, left the roadway and struck a retaining wall.
The Joplin Crash Team continues the investigation. Updates will be released as they become available.
