According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2004 Chevrolet Trailblazer driven by Elacia M. Engle, 38, Joplin, swerved to avoid a vehicle, overcorrected, traveled off the left side of the roadway and struck the cable barrier.
Engle was treated for minor injuries at SSM Health St. Joseph Hospital in Lake St. Louis.
