Seneca teen injured in accident on Bethel Road

A Seneca man was injured in a two-vehicle collision 9:35 a.m. today on Bethel Road, three miles north of Seneca.

According to the Highway Patrol report, as a 2000 Ford F-150 driven by Jakob D. Sampson, 18, Seneca, and a 2013 Dodge Durango driven by Karli S. DeMoss, 28, Seneca, were northbound on Bethel Road, the Sampson vehicle attempted a left turn as DeMoss was overtaking him and was struck by the DeMoss vehicle.

A passenger in the Sampson vehicle, Andrew H. Sampson, 17, Seneca, was treated for minor injuries at Freeman Neosho.
