According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2019 Volvo tractor driven by Shiping Hu, 58, Baldwin Park, California, struck a 2015 Toyota Sienna driven by Shannon R. Cristal, 51, Neosho, in the rear, forcing it into oncoming traffic where it was struck by a 2018 Kenworth tractor driven by Jonathan Acosta, 28, Laredo, Texas.
Cristal was treated for moderate injuries at Freeman West Hospital, Joplin.
