Jane man, Southwest City teen injured in collision on 71


Two people were injured in a two-vehicle collision 6:19 p.m. Friday on U. S. 71, one mile south of Jane.

According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2015 Ford Focus driven by a 15-year-old Southwest City girl attempted to make a left turn and failed to yield to a 2001 Toyota Sequoia driven by Ramon F. Rigenhagen, 81, Jane, causing the accident.







The teen was treated for minor injuries at Mercy Hospital, Joplin.

Rigenhagen was treated for minor injuries at Northwest Medical Center, Bentonville, Arkansas.
