Two Stockton residents were injured in a two-vehicle accident 7:18 p.m. today on Dade County Road 72, seven miles northwest of Lockwood.
According to the Highway Patrol report, a 1998 Chevrolet S-10 driven by Travis W. Karnes, 26, Stockton, lost control on gravel and slid into the path of a 2015 Dodge 3500 driven by Harley E. Bontreger, 30, Neosho.
Karnes was treated for moderate injuries and a passenger in his vehicle, Zachery C. Karnes, 26, Stockton, for serious injuries at Mercy Hospital, Springfield.
