Nevada woman flown to Freeman following accident on I-49


A Nevada woman was injured in a one-vehicle accident 2:53 a.m. today on I-49, four miles north of Nevada.

According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2002 Ford F-50 driven by Alanda N. Monroe, 38, Nevada, traveled off the left side of the roadway, overcorrected, traveled off the right side of the roadway and overturned.

Monroe was airlifted to Freeman West Hospital, Joplin, to be treated for serious injuries.
