Route 160 bridge over Stockton Lake near Greenfield to be closed

TRAFFIC ALERT: Rt. 160/Lynn Branch bridge CLOSED starting Sept. 21 as part of rehabilitation project


Where: U.S. Route 160 bridge over Lynn Branch arm of Stockton Lake near Greenfield

When: 7 a.m., Monday, September 21, until the end of the project

What: Contractor crews closing the bridge to begin removal of the bridge deck (driving surface) as part of a rehabilitation project








Traffic Impacts:
All lanes of Route 160 bridge over Lynn Branch CLOSED
Bridge will remain closed through the end of the project
Signs and message boards will alert drivers in advance of the closed bridge
Drivers will be directed to signed detour using Dade County Route O
Drivers should find alternate route

This work is part of a project to rehabilitate two bridges over Stockton Lake at the Lynn Branch and Turnback Creek arms.

Both bridges are included in Gov. Mike Parson’s $351 million Focus on Bridges program, which will repair or replace 250 bridges across the state.

Weather and/or scheduling conflicts could alter the work schedule.
