One person was injured in a three-vehicle accident 9:22 a.m. today on U. S. 24 at Topping Avenue in Kansas City.
According to the Highway Patrol report, Brittany D. Sanford, 25, Leavenworth, Kansas, driving a 2002 Nissan Altima, lost control of her vehicle and struck a 2020 Ford F-150 driven by Justice G. Weber, 23, Joplin, head on.
The Sanford vehicle then struck the driver's side of a 2007 Toyota Corolla driven by Duc V. Tran, 79, Kansas City.
Sanford was treated for minor injuries at North Kansas City Hospital.
