Lane shifts expected on portion of 26th Street due to Missouri American Water repairs

Starting Tuesday, September 15, East 26th Street will experience lane shifts between Connecticut Avenue and Arizona Avenue. 

These lane shifts are occurring in order for Missouri American Water crews can make repairs/replacements to a water main along 26th Street. This project is expected to take approximately three months.

Residents in the affected area will still have access to their houses. As the project progresses, residents may be directed to access their homes from a different direction. Please watch for notifications and signage to indicate traffic flow.

Drivers are urged to use extreme caution in the work area. The City appreciates your patience as this project is completed.
