Fourteen-year-old Carl Junction boy critically injured in car-bicycle collision

At 6:18 pm on Tuesday, December 1, 2020, an officer from the Carl Junction Police Department responded to a vehicle vs. bicycle crash at the intersection of Ashmore St. & Pennell St. in Carl Junction. 

After an investigation was initiated it was found that a westbound vehicle struck a bicycle that was traveling eastbound in the westbound lane near the shoulder of the roadway. 








The bicyclist, a 14-year-old Carl Junction resident, received critical injuries and was transported to an area hospital. The driver of the vehicle was not injured. 

The investigation is ongoing; therefore, names of the involved parties will not be released at this time.

  1. This is the parent of the "boy" of the accident and it was a girl a 14 yr old girl who was on her way home to beat curfew which was 6:30 who was only 6 blocks away from making it so before posting your media information make sure it correct plz and thank you......
