A Harrisonville man was injured in a one-vehicle accident 1:50 p.m. Tuesday on Jaguar Road, one mile south of Joplin.
According to the Highway Patrol report, Gary L. Tavis, Harrisonville, driving a 2003 Suzuki LTZ 400 ATV, attempted to make a turn at a high rate of speed and was ejected.
Tavis was treated for serious injuries at Freeman West Hospital, Joplin.
