A Joplin man was injured in a one-vehicle accident 7:03 p.m. Monday on MO 171, one mile north of Carl Junction.
According to the Highway Patrol report, Daniel R. Keshavarz, 32, Joplin, traveled off the right side of the roadway to avoid hitting a deer and struck a ditch.
Keshavarz was treated for minor injuries at Freeman West Hospital, Joplin.
