Joplin, Neosho residents injured in three-vehicle chain reaction collision on 43

 

Two people were injured in a three-vehicle accident 7:40 p.m. Friday on MO 43, five miles north of Seneca.

According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2005 Chevrolet 2500 driven by Austin Garrett, 18, Miami, Oklahoma, and a 2008 Ford Focus driven by Kristen O. Tyler, 25, Neosho, were stopped because a crash ahead of them.








A 2006 Pontiac Monte Carlo driven by Bradley R. Smith, 34, Carterville, struck the rear of the Tyler vehicle, causing it to hit the rear of the Garrett vehicle.

Tyler and a passenger in the Smith vehicle, Kimberly D. Smith, 58, Joplin, were treated for moderate injuries at Freeman West Hospital, Joplin.
