A Neosho man was killed in a one-vehicle accident 9 p.m. Wednesday on old U. S. 60, six miles west of Neosho.
According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2011 Ford F250 driven by Jeremiah T. Durbin, 40, Neosho, traveled off the right side of the road, struck a tree and overturned.
Newton County Deputy Coroner Jerry Deems pronounced Durbin dead at the scene.
The fatality was the seventh this year for Highway Patrol Troop D.
