Joplin fire crews respond to mobile home blaze at 200 E. Zora

On Sunday, 24 January 2021, at 2:40 AM, the Joplin Fire Department responded to a report of a structure fire at 200 E Zora. 

The first crew arrived at 2:46 AM to find a single-story mobile home with smoke showing. All occupants were outside. 

Crews attacked the fire, extinguished it, and then checked the garage for any fire extension. Crews remained on scene until 4:15 AM.








The Joplin Fire Department responded with 7 units and 21 personnel. The Fire Department was assisted by METS Ambulance Service and the Joplin Police Department. METS treated and evaluated two people on scene.

The cause of the fire was ruled undetermined.
