Seneca Police Department Arrests

 

On 1/11/21, Officer Housley made a traffic stop at Hwy 43/Hwy 60 for a moving violation. The driver, Timothy McCracken had a Seneca FTA warrant for: Defective Equipment. McCracken was arrested and transported to Newton County Jail.

On 1/10/21, Officer Housley made a traffic stop at Cherokee/Wyandotte. The passenger, Dennis Raulston had 2 Neosho FTA warrants for: Obstructing Police and Miscellaneous Traffic Offense. Raulston was arrested and transported to Newton County Jail.

On 1/5/21, Officer Housley made a traffic stop at Washington/St. Louise for an equipment violation. The driver was arrested for DWR and transported to Newton County Jail.

On 12/24/20, Officer Zimmerman made a traffic stop at Hwy U for an equipment violation and moving violation. The driver’s BAC was .110. The driver was arrested for DWI and transported to Newton County Jail. The driver was booked and cited for: DWI, No Insurance, Endangering the Welfare of a Child, C&I Driving, Resisting Arrest and Expired License.

On 12/18/20, Officer Whitehead was dispatched to an address in reference to a drunk driver. They found the vehicle and a male subject jumped out and started running. Officer Whitehead caught the male subject and arrested him. The male subject was taken to the hospital for evaluation. He was unable to be released from the hospital due to possible Alcohol Poisoning. The male subject was given citations for: Assault on a Law Enforcement Officer, No Valid Driver’s License, Property Damage, Resisting Arrest, DWI, C&I Driving, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Open Container, No Insurance, Fail to Register Motor Vehicle.
