Neosho teen injured in one-vehicle accident on I-49

A Neosho woman was injured in a one-vehicle accident 4:35 p.m. Sunday on northbound I-49, three miles west of Diamond.

According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2006 Jeep Commander driven by Jacob R. Smith, 22, Neosho, began to hydroplane, traveled off the right side of the road and overturned.

A passenger, Joanna R. Brant, 18, Neosho, was treated for minor injuries at Freeman West Hospital, Joplin.
