(From the Barton County Prosecuting Attorney's Office)The Barton County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office has filed charges against Amos David Sumrell following an investigation by the Barton County Sheriff’s Office into the sexual assault of a Barton County woman.
Sumrell, 31 years old, of Liberal, Missouri is charged with sexual abuse in the first degree and sodomy.
Sumrell is currently being held in the Barton County Jail awaiting trial.
