A Carthage man was injured in a one-vehicle accident 4:51 p.m. Wednesday on MO 96, seven and a half miles east of Avilla.
According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2006 Ford F150 driven by Virgilio A. Mejia-Mendez, 72, Carthage, ran off the roadway and struck a ditch.
Mejia-Mendez received minor injuries and refused treatment at the scene, according to the report.
