A Neosho woman was cited for driving while intoxicated following a one-vehicle accident 9:44 p.m. Thursday on Splitlog Road, two miles west of Goodman.
According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2012 Kia Optima driven by Lottienda R. Payton, 19, Neosho, ran off the roadway, struck a fence and several trees.
A passenger, a 16-year-old Goodman girl, was treated for moderate injuries at Freeman West Hospital, Joplin.
Payton, who received minor injuries and did not need treatment, according to the report, was also cited for felony assault, careless and imprudent driving, not wearing a seat belt and for not using a child restraint device.
