Seneca Police Department Arrests

On 5/31/21, Officer Housley made a traffic stop at Cherokee/Osage for multiple equipment violations. The passenger, Ronnie Gilmore had a warrant out of Lawrence County for: No Seatbelt. Gilmore was arrested and transported to Newton County Jail.

On 5/28/21, Officer Housley made a traffic stop at Hwy 43 for a moving violation. The driver was arrested and cited for: Unlawful Possession of an Explosive Device, No Insurance and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. The passenger was arrested and cited for: Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Unlawful Possession of an Explosive Weapon. Both subjects were transported to Newton County Jail.

On 5/25/21, Officer Zimmerman was informed that an individual, Cyndy Whitehead was in our city limits and had an active Newton County warrant. Officer Zimmerman saw Cyndy Whitehead and arrested her on a Newton County warrant for: Failure to Register Motor Vehicle. Whitehead was transported to Newton County Jail.

On 5/25/21, Officer Kirby made a traffic stop at Hwy 43 for an equipment violation. The driver was arrested for: DWR. The passenger, Jeffery TeeHee had a warrant out of Seneca for: FTA. Both subjects were transported to Newton County Jail.
