(From the Barton County Prosecuting Attorney's Office)The Barton County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office has filed charges against Daniel E. Mankey following an investigation by the Barton County Sheriff’s Office, of allegations involving a child less than 12 years old.
Mankey, 60 years old, of Lamar, Missouri, is charged with 3 counts of sodomy in the first degree, 1 count of attempted sodomy in the first degree, and 2 counts of child molestation. Mankey is currently being held in the Barton County Jail without bond.
