A Carthage woman was injured in a one-vehicle accident 10:48 a.m. today on MO 43, a half mile north of Nashville.
According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2013 Ford Focus driven by Kenia J. Lopez, 21, Carthage, struck a deer in the roadway.
Lopez was treated for minor injuries at Via Christi Hospital, Pittsburg, Kansas.
