Jasper County Sheriff: Watch for suspicious activity around ATMs

Recently in our Four-State area, there have been some ATM thefts or attempted thefts. 

We are asking for your help in reporting any suspicious activity near external ATMs. The incidents seem to be occurring between 3:00 AM. and 6:00 AM at banks with external ATMs. 

Usually, the suspects steal a truck and have a chain attached to pull open the machines. 

If you are out and about and happen to see anything suspicious near ATM machines, please contact your local law enforcement agency.
