Two people were injured in a two-vehicle collision 1:30 p.m. Wednesday on Fir Road, just west of Carl Junction.
According to the Highway Patrol report, a 1992 Mercury Cougar driven by Greggory P. Hayes, 67, Joplin, crossed the center line and struck a 2013 Mazda CX5 driven by Quinten U. Fleshman, 32, Carl Junction, causing the Fleshman vehicle to travel off the roadway and hit a road sign.
The Hayes vehicle traveled off the roadway and stopped.
Hayes was treated for moderate injuries at Freeman West Hospital, Joplin.
A passenger in the Fleshman vehicle, Lauren M. Fleshman, 31, Carl Junction, was treated for minor injuries at Mercy Hospital, Joplin.
