(From the Jasper County Sheriff's Office)During the early morning hours of 12/17/2021, Jasper County Deputies responded to an assault, east of Carthage, near the intersection of CR 118 and Jolt Ln.
During the investigation, it was found that one individual had fled the scene after assaulting two individuals with a knife.
Both victims were treated at the local hospital for non-life-threatening injuries, and at this time, all involved parties have been contacted.
No names are being released at this time as the investigation is ongoing.
